SSD unallocated and cannot initialize
I've been trying to fix my brothers ssd but to no avail.
First, the PC completely froze with no response for 5+ minutes so he shut the pc down. When attempting to boot into windows he was greeted with a black screen.
I then attempted to reinstall windows, and within the custom installer it said the SSD had 229GB/229GB free space.
In diskpart, it claims "a device which does not exist was specified"
I've now plugged the ssd into another PC, and in the disk manager it says it is not initialised and unallocated
When I right click, the option to initialise the disk is greyed out. Before, I was able to try initialise the disk, and was greeted with the same error message "a device which does not exist was specified"
Is there any way to fix the SSD, or is it time it goes in the trash?
